Craft & Connect

Every Thursday afternoon, people of all ages in Greater Victoria are invited to join us to:

  • create art or crafts
  • learn something new and
  • meet great people.

 

When: Thursdays (weekly) 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Where: 1525 Cedar Hill Cross Rd, Luther Court’s Main Lounge

Cost: FREE, drop-in

Basic supplies and light refreshments are provided.

Our community programs are open to people of all ages in the Greater Victoria area.

Craft & Connect with Oasis Society

Once a month, Luther Court Society hosts the team at the Oasis Society to lead an Indigenous craft workshop for our residents and members of the wider community.

Participants are invited to try new crafts, connect with others, and take home a piece theyโ€™ve created. Each month features a different workshop, so youโ€™re welcome to join us for a single session or take part throughout the year.

When: Second Thursday of every month, 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Drug Poisoning Response and Naloxone Training

Join us for a group workshop and learn about harm reduction and what to do if you witness a drug poisoning. Participants will:

  • learn how to respond to a drug poisoning
  • practice administering Naloxone
  • receive a Naloxone kit

 

When: Monthly workshops available (excluding December)*, 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Join a registered nurse from our Community Health Centre for a free community health education session focused on understanding high blood pressure (hypertension) and its impact on overall health and wellbeing.

Beat the Heat: Summer Wellness

Join the Luther Court Community Health Centre’s beat the heat summer wellness session designed to help you stay healthy, safe, and cool all summer long.

Presented by our nurse practitioner Olivia, we will cover

  • essential summer health tips
  • the impact of air quality on health
  • the benefits of spending time in nature
