VIHA Home & Community Care provides health care and support services for people served by VIHA.

Assisted Living Program
Assisted Living is a type of housing with services developed within VIHA. VIHA subsidizes seniors of low to moderate income who require assistance with personal care and services such as meals and house cleaning, to living in assisted living setting.

Adult Day Care
Adult day centres and other community programs such as bathing programs, provide social, recreation and wellness activities. They can also give family caregivers a break to rest, reconnect with others or run errands.

Independent Living BC offers a middle option to bridge the gap between home care and residential care for those who need some assistance, but don’t want or need 24-hour care.
